Meet Izen (Cheong Mu Hyeon, 淸無玄)
“A practitioner of depth, living a real life and guiding others inward”
Master Izen is the founder of O Wave Meditation — a structured system that integrates ancient energy breathing with modern life.
He is not a monk, nor someone who abandoned the world.
Rather, he is someone who found awakening within daily life — while running a business, raising a family, and walking through the ordinary world.
For over 27 years, Izen has practiced silently and consistently,
exploring the inner realms of Qi (energy) and consciousness through the method of Danjeon breathing.
Through deep personal discipline and awakening, he redefined traditional practices into a modern, accessible system called O Wave Meditation (OWM).
OWM is based on the philosophy of “filling and emptying” —
accumulating universal energy in the body while naturally quieting and emptying the mind.
His Dharma name, Cheong Mu Hyeon (淸無玄), means
“the Clear, the Empty, and the Deep.”
It reflects his lifelong dedication to helping others discover the truth within, without leaving their ordinary life behind.
OWM guides practitioners through 10 progressive stages,
from the first discovery of energy in the lower abdomen to the ultimate realization of the Ethereal Self —a self composed purely of light and consciousness.
Many who have followed Izen’s guidance have overcome insomnia, panic disorder, and depression, often within just a few months of dedicated practice.
But Izen does not call himself a guru or teacher.
He says:
“I don’t teach you how to meditate.
I guide you to meet who you truly are.”
